Tapi banyak orang juga punya asumsi bahwa makanan manis dapat mengakitbakan sejumlah penyakit seperti obesitas, diabetes, kerusakan gigi, dan penyakit lainnya. Maka itu, ada orangtua yang melarang anaknya untuk makan makanan manis seperti permen dan cokelat, supaya terhindar dari kerusakan gigi. Padahal, makanan manis tidak selamanya menyebabkan penyakit. Makanan manis juga memiliki manfaat, antara lain:
1. Sumber energi
2. Bisa memperbaiki mood
3. Meningkatkan kemauan berfikir
Maka kesimpulannya FAKTA karena glukosa yang kita konsumsi akan digunakan jika tidak ada makanan yang masuk ke dalam tubuh atau saat tubuh kekurangan energi.
